Our knobs and T-bars in solid brass are mounted with through screws, ensuring a stable installation that is perfect for both cabinets and drawers. Follow these steps to install the knobs correctly.
1. Marking the Hole
Start by marking the location of the hole with a pencil. Be sure to measure carefully and ensure the knobs are placed at the same height and distance, especially if you’re installing multiple knobs or T-bars. Use a drill template if needed to ensure even and straight installations.
2. Drilling the Hole
Use a drill with the same diameter as the screw, typically 4mm for M4 screws. Place a piece of masking tape over the mark to prevent the wood from splintering while drilling. Drill slowly and straight to create an exact hole that the screw can pass through.
3. Mounting the Knob and T-Bar
Place the knob on the outside of the cabinet or drawer and screw the screw in from the inside. Tighten gently but firmly to ensure the knobs are secure. Adjust if necessary to achieve a perfect fit.
